My curls previously were fine, but just not very defined. With this my curls feel so soft and fresh, and the defintion is UNMATCHED. Bear in mind i have thick, curly hair with huge curls and locks. my routine for it is: have a shower and just get my hair rlly wet. then after my shower, i dry my hair with an old t-shirt, scrunching etc, and then with the hair still fairly soaking wet, i take about two to three scoops and run it from root to tips, scrunching etc for gd distribution. then i go in with a defining gel on the tips and mid-lengths to hold that defintion. i them let it air dry for about half an hour and then diffuse for 10 minutes ish. then i let it sit and then at about 11am on my break i use a hair oil to break the cast of the defining gel and then I am left with super soft, bouncy, luscious curls! hope this helps!

I’ve recently embraced my natural curly hair, after years of blowing it dry straight, so I was looking for curl defining products and thought I’d give this on from My Bubble a try!I have tried this with and without using curly hair shampoo and conditioner (not same brand) and have found it works in both ways, though more curls to define if I’ve used a curl shampoo and conditioner prior. The curl cream comes in a tub (would have been much easier in a tube in my view), so you scoop out a small amount and apply to damp hair and either leave to air dry or use a diffuser. There is absolutely no doubt that it works, perhaps not quite as well as my usual Revlon Restart Curls Defining Caring Cream, bit does a good job nevertheless of defining the curl and keeping frizz under control.Overall it’s four star from me. It’s a decent rice at £11.99, but I don’t really like the scent, which is odd as I usually don’t mind coconut-based products, maybe it’s the addition of the mint. So I will use it, but probably wouldn’t buy again. Four stars from me.

As this is about the 6th curl defining cream I’ve tried I didn’t hold much hope, as products I’ve had before just let me down. This one, however, gave some great results. The smell of the cream reminds me of Shea moisture with a hint of coconut - though it’s a much more pleasant smell.I washed my hair without conditioner (I usually use conditioner - I just wanted to give this the product a challenge) then, after keeping my hair wrapped in a microfibre towel for 20 minutes, I picked up some of the product on the end of my finger and smoothed it between both palms of my hand. At this point I thought it may be too oily as it felt that way. I then put hair on my left side between my palms and smoothed downwards. Using same amount of cream I did the same on the right side of my hair. Then with my head tipped forwards I scrunched upwards with the microfibre towel. I didn’t put any gel on after this either, like I usually do, again another challenge. What a fantastic result, it defined my waves/curls, and made my hair shiny and soft. It didn’t weigh my hair down either. I did have to scrunch a little again once my hair had dried, just to break the cast a bit.So, given I didn’t condition or need to add additional gel, for my thick, dry, frizzy, coarse hair this is a fab product that works extremely well.

I’m on a three year journey to bring my curls back! Ever since the beginning of the pandemic I’ve been trying everything to bring my curls back after years of not caring for them properly and I was losing hope! But then I tried THIS!!! Omg it’s so simple but works so WELL! I literally just scrunch it into my wet hair while my head is upside down and diffuse dry!! My ringlets are back!!! I don’t know how this works but I’m not questioning it, I’ve finally found my answer and I’m so happy!!

Some creams leave curls crispy or greasy looking but this works well as long as you apply to soaking hair

This product smells so good, I love the smell of shea butter and you can smell that straight away. The texture is as you would expect for this type of texturising cream for curls. After years and years of heat styling to straighten my unruly, frizzy locks, there are occasions when I like to give my hair a break from the heat and leave it to dry naturally, it tends to be frizzy and lacks any kind of defined curl. I have used this product a couple of times now and it has definitely reduced the frizz, it isn't creating curls as such, but it does add a little bit of bounce and definition. It isn't going to work miracles, as expected, but I am happy with the results. I have mid length hair and used a small amount, maybe a tablespoon, to run through towel dried hair. I then scrunched my hair up to try to encourage the curls. The key to avoid frizz is don't touch your hair! Leave it and let the product do it's work. I'd recommend this product, as I said, it isn't going to create curls, but it certainly has anti-frizz properties and has left my hair looking in much better condition when left to dry naturally. The price is good for a product of this nature, it is sulphate free which is much preferred from an environmental aspect and is curly girl method approved. Win win.

Mixed race curly person over here who follows the curly girl program.I wasn't a fan of the scent it smells slightly medicated, would have preferred a fragrance free version. That being said, once it's soaked into the hair I could barely smell it.Something to note is that this product is high in oils.I have 2 different types of hair. The outer half is softer and larger curls. And the underneath is very small and tighter curls with high porosity. This product worked really nicely with the under part of my hair, usually that's where I have issues trying to style so that it's consistent with the rest of my hair. It curled that area well and tamed the frizz. The outer half also curled well but I found this leave in to be slightly drying which did end up causing frizz on the outer part of my hair! Not sure how this happened. If like me you have hair that dries very quickly after washing, with this product it works better if you spray the section of hair with water first before applying. I found this to be the best method.I was worried with it being such a small tub that it would not last me long as I have very thick and very long hair. However if you put some of it onto the palms of your hands and rub them together it does make a little go a long way.All in all this leave in gave me very pretty curls, tighter than usual and I would absolutely purchase again.Edit: Works as a refresher too!

£11 at time of reviewYou can see on the video i posted my curls are much more curly and stays in place. Before, I only use hair oils just to keep my hair intact and not go wild when i used this cream, it works like gel but softer and not too harsh. I use this after i washed my hair and it’s still wet then defuse it. After it all dried up my hair just stayed in place and the curls got more defined and bouncier. I really love this and shea butter just makes my hair smell good and smell last long.I’m also happy to know that this is cruelty free, phthalates free and vegan friendly!Any girls with curly hair must have this, love the quality it does work well!Hope my review was helpful
